In Support of Equitable Representation and Services for Two-Spirit Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex Asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) Parents and Families and Creation of a Queer Transgender Parent Advisory Council (QTPAC)

Resolution No. 2111-9A1 – In Support of Equitable Representation and Services for Two-Spirit Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex Asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) Parents and Families and Creation of a Queer Transgender Parent Advisory Council (QTPAC): (1) creating the QTPAC; (2) establishing membership criteria and structures for the QTPAC; (3) creating one full-time staff position to support and facilitate 2SLGBTQIA+ parent leadership; (4) establishing an annual reporting requirement from the QTPAC to the Board; (5) including 2SLGBTQIA+ in the work of the Equity Studies Community Task Force; (6) requiring signage for single stall restrooms; (7) aligning forms and communiques with state law regarding gender options; (8) requiring a plan to accomplish the goals of the Resolution and audit current programming for 2SLGBTQIA+ students. – Commissioner Alison M.
