Ang San Francisco Unified School District (simula dito District) kusang-loob na kinikilala ang Service Employees International Union Local 1021, (simula dito Union) bilang mga eksklusibong kinatawan ng angkop na Blue Collar at Student Nutrition Services at ang naaangkop na Clerical at Technical Services yunit ng pakikipagkasundo alinsunod sa seksyon 33050 ng Panuntunan at Regulations ng edukasyon Employment Relations Act. Ang mga pag-uuri sa mga bargaining unit ay itinalaga sa Appendix A ng Kasunduang ito. Ang Distrito affirms na ang Union ay gumawa ng isang pagpapakita ng mayorya ng suporta sa mga bargaining unit.

1.1 Paglalagay ng Bagong klasipikasyon

Ang Union ay nagbibigay ng Distrito na may isang listahan ng mga bagong mga pag-uuri na ito ay nagmumungkahi para sa unit sa pagsasama. Pagkatapos suriin ang sinabi list, Distrito at ang Union ay dapat matugunan upang talakayin ang kaangkupan sa mga posibleng unit pagbabago, potensyal na conflicts sa District titulo ng pamamahala at kumpidensyal na mga posisyon, at ang mga pamamaraan ng pagkilala ng Public Employment Relations Board (pero). Maliban sa mga kaso ng kaangkupan at pagtatalaga conflicts, ang Distrito ay hindi dapat magtangkang upang harangan ang kahilingan ng Union para sa isang yunit ng pagbabago PERB.

1.1.2 Should there be a dispute regarding appropriate unit assignment of any such classification(s), such dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the grievance and arbitration procedure.

1.1.3 The terms and provisions of this Agreement shall also be automatically applicable to any classifications for which the Union has become appropriately recognized during the term of this agreement. Such classifications shall also receive the appropriate differentials and premiums applicable to related classifications.

1.1.4 Issues related to classification descriptions shall be subject to the meet and confer process with final review by the Civil Service Commission. Issues related to the effects of classification decisions on hours, wages, terms and conditions of employment shall be subject to negotiations and interest arbitration.
