40.1 In order to protect community members of all immigration statuses in our communities who are targeted for repression by the Federal Government, the parties hereby adopt the following Sanctuary Policies:

40.1.1 The District will not allow federal immigration agents or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents onto its premises unless they produce a valid judicial warrant except as otherwise required by law. In the event that federal immigration agents or DHS agents do enter the premises, the Employer shall notify the Union immediately.
